VICTORIA EMBANKMENT GARDENS
SHOWING AT VICTORIA EMBANKMENT GARDENS...
about the venue
Located right next to Embankment tube station, this beautiful public park opened in 1865 as part of the chain of green open spaces lining the Victoria Embankment.
This secluded parkland, right in the heart of London, was reclaimed from the river Thames in 1862 (to make way for the city's new state of the art sewer system), and you can still see the original water gate, where boats would pull in to allow passengers to disembark, standing in the gardens, though it's now 100m from the river's edge.
This summer, The Luna Cinema's big screen will make Victoria Embankment Gardens its home for five nights of classic cinema under the stars on the Northbank.
FOOD + DRINK
The Luna Bar with Estrella will be onsite serving a full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including Estrella beer, prosecco, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Hot drinks will also be available at the bar.
There will be no on-site catering, but there are a range of restaurants and cafe’s nearby. Please feel free to bring along food with you.
